Joanna is an experienced Marketing Director with over a decade spent working across consumer lifestyle. For her clients, she is a strategist, coach, trend forecaster and team builder. She brings with her a unique network of specialist talent accumulated across the worlds of media, music, advertising, e-commerce and start-up.

After training to be a life coach at The Coaching Academy, she spent the first part of her career working within consumer and business media at Emap across brands such as Broadcast, WGSN, Grazia, FHM, Cannes Lions, World Retail Congress (founding team) and World Architecture Festival (founding team).

She was on the founding team at Stylus - a trend forecaster across consumer lifestyle - where she created a marketing department and led their growth globally. It was here that she developed the ability to leverage consumer insight to drive brand strategy for some of the world’s most innovative brands including Apple, Bose, PepsiCo and Mattel.

Her next role was at Vice Media where she led brand and growth across Europe. Reporting to the CMO out of New York and managing a team of 10+ growth hackers and brand strategists, she oversaw new launches and acquisitions in news, food, female, tech, luxury, fashion, sport, gaming and music. Audience figures grew by over 1500% during her almost 4-year tenure and Vice became a household name brand in the UK.

Since her departure in early 2016, Joanna has worked independently across FMCG brands (Casio, Bacardi, Diageo), cultural institutions (Rinse FM, Wavey Garms, Tate), and most recently with innovative start-up businesses Jungle Creations (voted 11 in LinkedIn Start-Ups 2018) and Talentful (voted 10 in the LinkedIn Start-Ups 2018) whilst co-creating new brands including Numan (sexual wellness), Mason & Fifth (well-living) and Three Spirit (non-alc functional spirit).
